Stanbic Bank has opened new offices to which two of their already existing customer service points have relocated to. Minerva Branch and Minerva Private Banking Suite were recently relocated to 6. Duthie Avenue in Alexandra Park where the bank recons it will be able to deliver even better service to their customers in a location that is more serene than the busy CBD.
Patson Mahatchi, the acting Head of Personal and Business banking said that the move was necessitated by the need to provide added accessibility to the customers of Minerva Branch and Private Banking.
“Our previous location at the Social Security offices can be said to have been a neutral point, but there was a need to make amenities such as ample parking space available to the customers” said Mahatchi.
Mahatchi acknowledged that different customer segments require different service components and as such, the bank is confident that the move has brought more convenience for the customers. The Minerva branch is dedicated to Embassy and Non-Governmental Organizations and their staff.
“Our aim is to provide the needs of all our customers based on location and services available to them. In that vein, this move from the CBD adds simple comforts such as no parking costs and a detour from the traffic jams and congestion which is the order of the day in the CBD, our customers spend less time carrying out banking errands. After all, time is money.”
